IELTS

As part of the ENS degree program, students are expected to achieve a solid level of English, a skill essential for teachers and researchers in today’s world.

They must therefore all earn a general English certification—the IELTS—during their studies.

Unlike other tests, this internationally recognized certification assesses proficiency in all aspects of the language, both spoken and written.

The IELTS uses a 9-level scale, ranging from beginner to very advanced.

ENS students will be assigned an individual goal based on their starting level.
