M2 FESup - English Teaching Certification

Preparation for the agrégation is provided by faculty members in the Department of Languages as well as by outside specialists, depending on the works included in the curriculum.

Students may prepare for two tracks:

• Civilization (B)
• Linguistics (C)

This preparation is combined with a Master 2 FESup (training for higher education English teachers), whose curriculum covers the professional and disciplinary skills acquired during the preparatory year for the competitive exam, as well as training in LANSAD (Languages for Specialists in Other Disciplines) pedagogy.

Classes are held daily on the ENS campus (Gif-sur-Yvette), from early September through late June.

Admission Requirements

Students from other institutions may apply to enroll in the preparatory program and will be admitted to the cohort based on available spots.
