L'équipe d'enseignants-chercheurs du département des langues de l'ENS Paris-Saclay encourage particulièrement les mémoires en anglais de spécialité et didactique de l'anglais LANSAD (langues pour spécialistes d'autres disciplines). L'anglais de spécialité est « la branche de l'anglistique qui traite de la langue, du discours et de la culture des communautés professionnelles et groupes sociaux spécialisés anglophones et de l'enseignement de cet objet » (Petit, 2002 : 2).
Nous donnons ci-dessous quelques exemples de mémoires réalisés au département afin d'illustrer comment cette discipline de l'anglais de spécialité peut dialoguer avec la civilisation, l'analyse de discours, l'analyse de la FASP (fiction à substrat professionnel), la linguistique, la traduction ou encore la didactique.
